Molten iron tank is a container for transporting high-temperature molten iron. The lining of molten iron tank is made of refractory bricks, generally aluminum silicon carbide carbon refractory bricks. With the development of the smelting industry, the refractory materials are sold from the original refractory brick manufacturers to the steel plant, and the kilns used in the steel plant are contracted by the refractory production suppliers. This contracting method ensures the normal operation of the steel plant and increases the utilization rate of metallurgical equipment in the steel plant. Generally, the refractory materials of molten iron tanks are also contracted by the refractory suppliers.

 

What if the hot metal tank contracted by the refractory supplier is not used enough? As a refractory manufacturer, s first needs to find out the reasons for the quality of refractory bricks, whether the molten iron tank is not suitable for this kind of refractory bricks, whether the quality of this batch of refractory bricks is unstable, and so on.

 

Aluminum silicon carbide carbon brick is a refractory brick made of fused corundum (or sintered corundum and super grade bauxite clinker), graphite with fixed carbon of more than 90% - 95% and silicon carbide as the main raw materials, resin as the binder, mixed in a mixer, mechanically pressed and formed, dried and treated at a low temperature of 210 ℃. It is commonly used in the lining of molten iron ladle.
